James Brown is from Mountain View, CA and Detroit, MI. He started playing piano just three months before his first dueling piano show in Peoria, IL in 2005. That first show was life changing and kicked off a 32 state tour with audiences as large as 7000 people! He finally settled here in Glendale, AZ. James has always been a performer and his inspiration comes from his brother's passion for writing and 3 musical theatre composers; Bernstein, Sondheim and Larson. At the SHOUT House, James loves to see those people up on stage, that end up to be less shy than they appear! And it's not a secret, but James is not acting, he really is having as much fun as the guests!

Cathie King was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. She began playing violin at age nine and has since performed with numerous orchestras for concerts, musicals, and competitions. With the inspiration from her family and friends, she furthered her music education after high school at Arizona State University. Cathie currently performs professionally with a local string quartet and teaches private violin lessons. Her favorite part about the Shout House is performing for a rockin’ crowd!

Doug Marshall was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. He learned to play piano by ear at age 5 after seeing Elton John on TV. He loves to make people laugh, come together and sing-a-long and simply have a great time! "I am so lucky and grateful to be able to do what I do. There is no better feeling in the world to let people forget about life for a while." He has played all over the US, also in Norway and Germany. Doug has been a dueling piano player since 1995.

Jeff started piano at age four. By 13, having picked up the organ, he was a working musician playing church services, weddings, and private parties. At the same time, he performed regularly on stage in Community Theater productions. A classically trained pianist and piano performance major at Michigan State University with orchestral conducting aspirations, he has experience with and interest in film scoring, song writing, arranging and conducting. While at Michigan State Jeff did much arranging and performing with The Spartan Dischords, a twelve member a cappella group affiliated with the MSU Men’s Glee Club. Working long grueling days at Red Lobster pinched his interest in showbiz. He discovered the art of dueling pianos and has since followed the dueling piano muse from Lansing, Michigan to North Carolina, Atlanta, Texas, and Florida through Chicago, Boulder, Denver and on to Arizona. Jeff would like to thank his mom and dad for all their love and support and for never letting him go outside during the summer to play with his friends, making him sit in front of the piano all day to practice! I love you guys!!!

Jeremy began playing piano at the age of 5 and absolutely hated it, but as the years went by, Jeremy eventually discovered his love of writing music and, at the age of 10, wrote his first piece for piano and began playing flute in the school band. He continued to play flute throughout high school and, in addition to becoming drum major his junior year, joined choir and started to learn how to play guitar. After seeing Ben Folds in concert his freshman year of college, Jeremy began to dedicate more time to learning how to play piano. In 2009, he graduated from Bradley University in Peoria, IL, where he was born and raised, and relocated to Tempe, Arizona where he attended Arizona State University, earning his Masters degree in Music Composition. In addition to being a published composer, Jeremy loves spending his time learning bizarre songs and is so thankful to be doing what he loves most–making music and new friends every time he’s up on stage.
